Location: Saudi Arabia
Position: Quantity Surveyor (Normal/Junior Level)
Industry: Construction / Residential Development
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in residential housing, villa, and building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, cost control, subcontractor evaluation, and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and BOQs for residential and villa projects.
* Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to identify quantities and scope.
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for construction works.
* Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payment applications.
* Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
* Review subcontractor measurements and progress claims.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commercial teams.
* Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, variations, and project documentation.
* Assist in contractual and commercial matters related to construction works.
* Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
* 5+ years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
* Strong experience in residential housing and villa projects is required.
* Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC construction projects is highly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, variations, claims, and final accounts.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; experience with QS/estimation software is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications.
* Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate
* Candidates with hands-on experience in large-scale residential communities, villa developments, housing projects, or compound developments will be highly preferred.
* Can work under our Manpower Supplier
Employment Package:
* Salary Ranges from SAR 9,000 - 11,000
* Medical insurance (for employee only)
* 30 Days Paid Annual Leave
