๐ We're Hiring: Purchasing Specialist
๐ Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia
๐ข ISM Prefab (Ibrahim S. Al Moawi & Partner Trading & Contracting Co.)
ISM Prefab is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement operations and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials for our prefabrication and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
โ Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, equipment, and supplies (steel, LGS components, construction materials, etc.)
โ Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating best pricing and payment terms
โ Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in line with project and production schedules
โ Compare supplier quotations and evaluate value for money, quality, and delivery timelines
โ Track order status and follow up to ensure on-time delivery to factory/site
โ Coordinate with production, project, and warehouse/store teams to align procurement with actual needs
โ Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier database, and pricing history
โ Monitor market prices for key materials (steel, etc.) and flag cost-saving opportunities
โ Ensure procurement complies with company policies and budget approvals
Requirements:
๐น Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
๐น 2โ4 years' experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or steel/prefab industry
๐น Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
๐น Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Odoo, etc. โ a plus)
๐น Good knowledge of the local Eastern Province supplier/vendor market
๐น Fluent in Arabic and English (preferred)
๐น Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
