**Position:** Mechanical In-Service Inspection Inspector
**Location:** Jubail, Saudi Arabia
**Start Date:** 01 October 2026

### Job Description
We are looking for an experienced **Mechanical In-Service Inspection Inspector** to support inspection activities at a refinery/petrochemical plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
The candidate will be responsible for carrying out **in-service inspection of mechanical equipment, piping, and related plant facilities** to ensure safe and reliable operation and compliance with applicable inspection standards.
### Key Responsibilities
* Perform in-service inspection of refinery and petrochemical plant equipment and piping.
* Inspect various types of mechanical equipment using inspection tools such as **calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, infrared cameras, borescopes, and other relevant inspection equipment**.
* Conduct inspections of equipment that has been **repaired, modified, or altered** to verify its suitability for the intended service.
* Identify defects, deterioration, corrosion, damage, and other conditions affecting equipment integrity.
* Review inspection findings and determine whether equipment is suitable for continued operation.
* Prepare detailed **inspection reports, findings, and recommendations**.
* Maintain proper inspection records and documentation.
* Ensure inspection activities are performed in accordance with applicable **API standards and industry practices**.
* Coordinate with client/site personnel regarding inspection requirements and findings.
* Provide technical recommendations based on inspection results.
### Minimum Qualifications & Experience
* **Minimum 8 years of experience** in refinery/petrochemical plant **in-service inspection**.
* Engineering degree or diploma in **Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering/Discipline**.
* Strong practical experience in inspection of **equipment and piping** in operating refinery/petrochemical facilities.
* Good knowledge of applicable **API inspection standards**, including API 510, API 570, API 653, API 598, API 572, API 576, and related standards.
* Must hold **at least two valid API certifications** from:
* API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector
* API 570 – Piping Inspector
* API 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector
* Ability to independently prepare professional inspection reports and recommendations.
* Good communication and reporting skills.
* Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
