Description
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily dispatch, vehicle, driver, and equipment assignments based on operational requirements.
• Monitor truck and equipment movements, trip status, delays, and operational activities.
• Maintain records of fleet availability, utilization, vehicle assignments, trips, and downtime.
• Coordinate with drivers, equipment operators, supervisors, maintenance, workshop, gate, yard, and transport teams.
• Follow up on delayed trips, vehicle availability, operational issues, and resource requirements.
• Assist supervisors with daily operational planning and resource coordination.
• Maintain accurate Excel trackers and operational reports covering dispatch, fleet, movements, attendance, utilization, and productivity.
• Enter and update operational information in ERP/system applications and follow up on data discrepancies.
• Prepare daily/weekly operational summaries and reports for supervisors and management.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of operational information across relevant teams.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor relevant qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operations, dispatch, fleet, logistics, transportation, port, container terminal, or heavy-equipment operations.
• Previous dispatch and fleet coordination experience is mandatory.
• Experience working with drivers, operators, fleet teams, and operational supervisors.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel - sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and maintaining trackers/reports.
• ERP/system experience is required.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced terminal/shift-based environment.
