Mechanical & Electrical Technician (Car Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)/ Local Transfer/ Valid Iqama/ Location Jeddah / Salary 4000 - 5000 SAR
Job Profile:
The Mechanical & Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automotive air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and related electrical and mechanical components. The technician shall ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain car air conditioning (A/C) and refrigeration systems.
* Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in vehicles and refrigeration equipment.
* Install, service, and replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and other related components.
* Perform preventive maintenance on automotive cooling and refrigeration systems.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
* Conduct electrical testing using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts utilized.
* Assist in identifying and recommending improvements to system performance and reliability.
* Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, refrigerants, compressors, and cooling equipment.
* Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment effectively.
* Good problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
