Description
Mechanical BIM Engineer
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience, including relevant Saudi Arabia project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP.
Model HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required.
Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
Conduct clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
Review drawings, specifications, and models to identify discrepancies and coordination issues.
Prepare BIM/shop drawings and construction documentation.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design and site coordination issues.
Ensure BIM models meet project standards, BEP, LOD requirements, and client requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
Update models based on approved changes and prepare as-built BIM information.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience, preferably on major Saudi projects.
Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and relevant international standards is preferred.
⚠️ Important Requirement:
This is a supplier-based position with a competitive salary package.
Iqama transfer is not available. Contract will be through Ajeer.
