Job Overview:
The Group is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join its hospitality team. The role involves overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities across hotel facilities, ensuring the readiness of buildings, guest rooms, and common areas, addressing maintenance issues, and following up on preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure operational continuity and maintain facility quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities across hotel facilities and monitor their completion.
- Supervise and carry out architectural repairs and finishing works within hotel facilities.
- Monitor maintenance requests and work orders, prioritize them, and ensure they are properly addressed and closed.
- Conduct regular site inspections of buildings, guest rooms, and common areas to identify issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors and suppliers and follow up on required technical works and services.
- Identify spare parts and technical supply requirements and submit requests in accordance with approved procedures.
- Document recurring maintenance issues, analyze their root causes, and recommend improvements or equipment and asset replacements when necessary.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on maintenance activities, asset conditions, and facility readiness.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or another maintenance-related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in maintenance, preferably in hotels or large facilities and commercial complexes.
- Practical experience in field maintenance, architectural repairs, and finishing works.
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles and fault management.
- Ability to monitor maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and follow up on their completion.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors and suppliers and monitor technical works.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and fieldwork skills.
- Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotels or the hospitality sector.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience monitoring recurring faults and analyzing their root causes.
- Ability to prepare maintenance reports and monitor asset and facility conditions.
