Job Vacancy: Groundwater Dewatering Technician
TechFlow Solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking qualified and skilled professionals for the position of Groundwater Dewatering Technician to support ongoing projects in the Eastern Province.
Job Details:
Job Title: Groundwater Dewatering Technician
Location: Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-time
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years
Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and operate dewatering systems, including Wellpoint Systems, Deep Wells, and Sump Pumps.
Operate and monitor diesel and electric pumps, generators, and control panels to ensure continuous, uninterrupted, and efficient site dewatering.
Lay and connect discharge piping, flexible hoses, header pipes, and suction points in accordance with approved project engineering drawings.
Monitor groundwater levels, pump pressures, and discharge flow rates to maintain dry excavation zones and ensure structural foundation safety.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns on-site to minimize downtime.
Strictly adhere to occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards required on major construction and earthwork sites.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical disciplines, or equivalent vocational training.
Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of dewatering systems within construction and infrastructure projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial pumps, diesel engines, piping systems, and well installation methods across different soil conditions.
Physical Capability: Ability to work on-site in varying outdoor weather conditions, handle emergencies, and adapt to shifting water table challenges.
Valid Saudi Driver’s License: Preferred.
Transferable Iqama: Required for candidates currently residing inside Saudi Arabia.
