Job Title: Hydraulic Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components used in industrial machinery, mobile equipment, and heavy equipment. The technician ensures hydraulic systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, circuits, and components.
Troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, and control systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and install hydraulic components.
Test hydraulic pressure, flow, temperature, and system performance using appropriate testing equipment.
Identify hydraulic leaks, pressure losses, abnormal noise, overheating, and system failures.
Replace or repair hydraulic hoses, seals, fittings, filters, and other components.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
Conduct system flushing, oil replacement, filtration, and contamination control.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
Follow safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and maintenance standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.

Required Qualifications
Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience as a Hydraulic Technician or similar role.
Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems used in heavy equipment, industrial machinery, construction equipment, or oil & gas equipment.
Good knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and control systems.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot system faults.
Knowledge of hydraulic testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Preferred Experience
Experience with mobile cranes, excavators, loaders, forklifts, hydraulic power units, or other heavy equipment.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial maintenance environments.
GCC/Saudi Arabia experience is an advantage.
