Description
We are hiring Planning Engineer with the below requirements
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS),
activity sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying delays or risks and proposing corrective
actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather progress
updates and ensure schedule compliance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, highlighting milestones,
delays, and mitigation measures.
• Update and maintain project dashboards, Gantt charts, and other planning tools.
• Perform critical path analysis (CPA) and evaluate potential impacts on project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, SEC standards, and company
procedures.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, resource plans, and project control
documentation.
• Support the management of project change orders, variations, and schedule
adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, meetings, and planning documentation.
• Coordinate project close-out schedules and handover documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning software.
• Experience in high-voltage transmission, substation, or civil construction projects is
preferred.
• Mandatory: Previous Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Planning Engineer Approval.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with SEC project standards is an advantage.
