HEAVY VEHICLE / ROAD TRANSPORT MECHANIC (MALE)

We are looking for an *experienced Heavy Vehicle / Road Transport Mechanic* with strong practical experience in maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, buses, and other commercial transport vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

* Perform regular maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair of heavy vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical problems and identify the cause of vehicle faults.
* Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical systems.
* Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce vehicle breakdowns.
* Inspect vehicles before and after maintenance or repair.
* Respond to vehicle breakdowns and provide roadside mechanical support when required.
* Maintain proper records of vehicle repairs, servicing, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
* Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor regarding vehicle maintenance and breakdowns.
* Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition.
* Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Mandatory Experience

* Minimum *2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Vehicle / Truck Mechanic*.
* Practical experience with *road transport vehicles and fleet maintenance* is mandatory.
* Experience with trucks, trailers, buses, or commercial vehicles is preferred.
* Candidates with only light-vehicle or general workshop experience may not be considered.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of *heavy vehicle mechanical systems*.
* Good troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
* Experience with engine, gearbox, brake, suspension, steering, and cooling systems.
* Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Ability to identify mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.
* Basic ability to maintain maintenance records.

🔴 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS – MECHANIC

1. ✅ *Minimum 2–3 Years Heavy Vehicle / Road Transport Mechanic Experience – Mandatory*
2. ✅ *Hands-on Truck / Trailer / Commercial Vehicle Repair Experience – Mandatory*
3. ✅ *Strong Mechanical Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Skills – Mandatory*
4. ✅ *Experience in Fleet Vehicle Maintenance – Mandatory*
5. ✅ *Experienced Mechanic with practical workshop/roadside repair experience only*

Qualification

* Technical / vocational qualification in *Automobile Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field* is preferred.
* Relevant practical experience may be considered.

Other Requirements

* Valid *transferable Iqama* preferred/required as per company hiring requirements.
* Must be physically capable of performing vehicle maintenance and repair work.
* Must be available for transport/fleet operations.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to vehicle breakdowns when required.

SAR 3,000
