Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to safely operate trucks for the transportation and delivery of goods, materials, and equipment. The driver will ensure timely transportation while following road safety regulations, company procedures, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned trucks safely and efficiently for transportation and delivery activities.
- Transport goods, materials, equipment, or cargo between designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
- Check vehicle condition, including tires, brakes, lights, oil, and other essential components.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transportation.
- Follow approved routes, traffic laws, and road safety regulations.
- Complete deliveries and collections according to assigned schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections.
- Report vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents, or other issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance requirements when necessary.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation related to deliveries and transportation activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Valid Truck/Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Truck Driver.
Experience in logistics, transportation, construction, industrial, or terminal operations is preferred.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
Basic knowledge of truck operation and routine vehicle inspections.
Ability to safely maneuver and operate heavy vehicles.
Physically fit and capable of performing loading/unloading-related duties when required.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
