Description

Job Responsibilities:
* Designing and preparing protection and firefighting system and layouts.
* Reviewing drawings, reports, engineering documents.
* Conducting inspections, auditing, risk assessments, gap analysis etc.
* Coordination between clients, third parties and with legal authorities to ensure compliances with local regulations and international standards such as NFPA, IBC, IFC, and local Civil Defense requirements.
* • Provide technical guidance to project teams.

Qualification:
* Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Certification:
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection (where applicable).
• NFPA Certified (CFPS or other relevant certification).
• AutoCAD certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Civil Defense approval processes.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Experience:
• 3–7 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
• Experience in the design of fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or high-rise projects is preferred.

Skills:
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
• Experience working on large-scale EPC or consultancy projects.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Strong knowledge of: NFPA Codes and Standards, International Building Code (IBC),
International Fire Code (IFC), Local Civil Defense regulations
• Fire alarm system design.
• Sprinkler and firefighting system design.
• Hydraulic calculations.
• Smoke control systems.
• Fire risk assessment.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Revit/BIM experience is an advantage.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculation software (e.g., Elite, Canute FHC, or equivalent) is preferred.
