Professional Summary – Electrical CAD Designer / BIM Modeler
I am a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical CAD Designer and BIM Modeler with experience in preparing, developing, modifying, and coordinating electrical engineering drawings and BIM models for building and MEP projects. I have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit MEP, and Navisworks, with the ability to translate engineering designs and project requirements into accurate and constructible drawings and 3D models.
My expertise includes developing electrical layouts, lighting layouts, small power layouts, emergency lighting, cable tray and containment systems, electrical equipment layouts, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, earthing and lightning protection systems, and ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, data and communication systems.
As a Revit MEP BIM Modeler, I create and maintain accurate electrical BIM models according to project standards and required LOD (Level of Development). I coordinate electrical services with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes before construction. I also assist with BIM coordination, model reviews, drawing extraction, schedules, quantity information, and model revisions.
