About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Multidiscipline Construction Draftsman with experience in mechanical, electrical, civil, piping, and structural drafting. The successful candidate will prepare accurate construction and as-built drawings for pipelines, pipe supports, steel structures, equipment layouts, and MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare construction, shop, fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings.
• Develop piping layouts, pipe routing, isometric drawings, spool drawings, and support details.
• Prepare structural steel drawings, platforms, ladders, supports, foundations, and connection details.
• Produce mechanical and electrical layouts, including equipment arrangements, cable routes, and service coordination.
• Prepare civil drawings such as layouts, sections, foundations, trenches, sleeves, and underground services.
• Review drawings against project specifications, site conditions, approved designs, and client requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Update drawings based on site changes, redlines, RFIs, and engineering comments.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare accurate as-built documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, title blocks, and document control requirements.
• Support the construction team with technical drawings and field clarification.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Diploma, certificate, or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of construction drafting experience, preferably in pipelines, industrial plants, infrastructure, or building services.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with Civil 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand piping isometrics, P&IDs, structural drawings, civil drawings, electrical layouts, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of pipeline supports, steel structures, construction methods, material take-offs, and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of drawing standards, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, scales, and revisions.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineering and construction teams.
• Good communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
• HDPE, RTR, carbon steel, stainless steel, and underground pipeline projects.
• Pipe racks, platforms, supports, access structures, and industrial facilities.
• Preparation of method-statement sketches, lifting sketches, redline drawings, and final as-built drawings.
• Experience working with consultants, clients, inspection teams, and construction contractors.
