Design Engineer For Industrial Valves & Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings In Water Sector

We are looking for Design Engineer to join our team in the valve manufacturing industry , Located in 2nd Industrial City Dammam. Preferable for saudi resident with transferable Iqama
🎓 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
💼 Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial valve design and manufacturing. Strong background in valve design and development for water valves & Pipe Fittings
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage design documentation for assigned projects
Conduct research and apply mathematical modeling to evaluate new design concepts and cost-effectiveness
Develop technical designs using CAD/CAE software
Perform detailed design calculations for valves (Gate Valves, Butterfly Valves, etc.)
Oversee prototype testing, analyze results, and ensure product readiness for manufacturing
Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASME, API, ISO, AWWA, BS, EN, ASTM
Evaluate and recommend appropriate engineering solutions to meet project requirements
Prepare detailed designs, layouts, and tender documents
Maintain design verification records and ensure adherence to contract specifications
Participate in and lead design review meetings
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production and management
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best engineering practices
Maintain documentation control, including design records and QC training materials
🔍 Key Skills:
Strong technical and analytical capabilities
Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools
In-depth knowledge of valve types: Gate, Butterfly, Check, Air Release Valves, and Pipe Fittings
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
Excellent communication and reporting skills
📌 Additional:
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work independently
Perform other duties as assigned by management
