Description
We are a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality commercial and residential joinery. Our core products include durable Washroom Partitions, Cabinets, and Vanities crafted from premium materials such as Phenolic Partition, HPL (High-Pressure Laminate), and Compact Laminate . We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication & Assembly: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, specifically Phenolic Partition, HPL, and Compact Laminate, to create washroom partitions, cabinets, and vanities according to specifications .
Reading Specifications: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings to ensure accurate product dimensions and installation .
Machinery Operation: Safely and effectively operate woodworking and laminate machinery (e.g., panel saws, routing machines) .
Installation: Perform on-site installation of completed products, ensuring high-quality finishing and alignment .
Quality Control: Inspect materials for defects and finished products for precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to quality standards .
Safety & Maintenance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment .
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Carpenter in a joinery, millwork, or cabinet-making environment .
Specialized Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience working with Phenolic Partition, HPL, and/or Compact Laminate materials is essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and performing accurate layout and measurements .
Tool Knowledge: Expert knowledge of hand and power tools used in carpentry and laminate fabrication .
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and in a team .
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial washroom or kitchen and bath cabinetry installation .
